Delivery Policy

The furniture will be assembled by the customer. MDO Muebles is not responsible for an incorrect assembly or use.

No exchanges can be made in the order after 72 hours of order placement.

Any cancellations due to circumstances beyond company’s control will be charged 20% of the value of the purchase, which will be deducted from the balance to be reimbursed to the customer for said cancellation.

Shipping costs for our products are at the risk and expense of the customer and should be paid by the customer at the time of delivery to the carrier. The shipment cost will depend on the size and weight of the item purchased, as well its geographic destination.

Every carrier is chosen by the customer, MDO Muebles is not responsible for any incident related to the chosen carrier company.

Delivery time depends on the carrier company’s policies which is why we recommend choosing an option that best suits your schedule needs.

Muebles y Diseños de Occidente, S.A. de C.V has delivery service in the metropolitan area of Guadalajara (for orders over $10,000.00 ) only and exclusively for our distributor customers (only in our customer’s commercial address). If the customer prefers the delivery be made to an address other than that of their main activity, it is important to let us know when placing your order to quote the price.

Once the order has been delivered to the carrier company, the guide/tracking number will be provided, as well as the telephone number of the company responsible for your order’s shipment in order to inform you the estimated date of delivery. The customer will be responsible to contact the carrier company to receive this information. In the event that the freight should encounter a setback, MDO Muebles will not be responsible for the carrier company’s delay.

Unloading maneuvers are usually on ground floor and additional maneuvers, arranging furniture, unpacking, lifting or hauling and additional floors, ferry crossing or others have an extra cost and shall have to be verified with the carrier company.

Delay in the shipment’s delivery times will depend on the geographical location of where it sent, having as a reference that all shipments are made from the city of San Pedro Tlaquepaque, Jalisco.

The warranty is only valid for the original buyer.

All immediate delivery merchandise must be paid 100% in order to set it aside from our inventory.

In transit merchandise with a maximum of 30 days from its arrival, shall at least be paid 70% of its total value.

Merchandise with a transit longer than 30 days from its arrival shall at least be covered 50% of its total value.

Requested merchandise not found in our current catalogue, shall at least be paid 70% of its total value to be requested and manufactured and shall be fully paid 15 calendar days prior to its arrival. In this case, there can be no cancellations or changes as it is specially ordered merchandise.

Any order that does not cover the established percentages will not be set aside from our inventory and will therefore, be available for sale or other distributors.

In no case can a refund for any advanced payment be made. If there is a change or cancellation, the customer will be charged 20% of the total value of the purchase and the remainder shall be used as credit in favor of future purchases.

Our furniture has a one-year warranty against any manufacturing defects, guaranteeing product’s functionality and quality. This warranty only applies for our furniture which is only for residential use. If our customers and/or distributors use it for purposes other than residential the warranty will not be valid. The warranty will not be valid if the product is used outdoors, MDO Muebles does not sell furniture for outdoor use.

OUR WARRANTY WILL NOT BE VALID IN THE FOLLOWING CASES:

The furniture was used in conditions other than normal or used for other purposes than those which it was designed for or discussed with the sales executive.

The furniture has visible damage or has been given an inappropriate use.

Due to natural disasters.

Due to fair wear and tear of fabrics, vinyl, stitching and coatings, by direct exposure to the environment or its elements such as rain, snow, humidity, dust, fire or direct sunlight.

Due to exposure or treatment with chemical products.

Due to its own nature, certain materials that are natural, such as wood or fabrics may vary in tone, color, streaks and inlays from those shown on images. It is accepted that these variations may exist and are not considered manufacturing defects.

In warranties, we are not responsible for variations of tones or colors. The customer is notified that the furniture may vary in its tone or color from the ones selected and acquired in the past or those which are already in their home, limiting only to repair or replace the item, not being responsible variations or differences in tone.

In case of loss of components, fasteners or accessories, no warranty will be valid.

In case of any modification, reupholstery, paint or any other addition to any of our products, MDO Muebles is not responsible for any warranty.

SHIPPING WARRANTIES

Our furniture has no warranty in case of damage done by the carrier company so it is recommended to insure the merchandise at the time of its shipping. The warranty and claim must be made with the carrier company.

Upon receiving the order at the given address, it is the customer’s responsibility to verify that the product is in good condition. After receiving it, the customer has 7 calendar days to report any factory defect or nonconformity with the product received (other than damage done by the carrier company).

To validate any warranty, you must return the product to our facilities. The product must be unused, with the original package (including manuals, labels, fasteners and accessories) in order to proceed with the validation.

All warranty must be considered under the conditions of Free on Board in the city of San Pedro Tlaquepaque, Jalisco. We are not responsible for the current location of the product.
